NovaTime
Using forms.app as the trigger and novaTime as the action in Zapier, your workflow becomes: a form submission in forms.app → Zap triggers → novaTime receives the submission details and creates/updates a record (for example: a new task, project item, activity) with the form data. This lets you convert inbound form responses directly into team-actionable items in novaTime.
What you’ll need
- A forms.app account (to build your form and collect responses)
- A Zapier account (to build and run the automation from forms.app → novaTime)
- A novaTime account (to receive the tasks, project items, or activities created via form submission)
5 Steps to Set Up novaTime + forms.app Integration
- In your forms.app dashboard, build and publish your form so that submissions will trigger the “New Form Submission” event in Zapier.
- In Zapier, click “Make a Zap” → choose forms.app as the trigger app → select the “New Form Submission” trigger and connect your forms.app account.
- Add the next step: select novaTime as the action app → choose an action such as “Create Work Item” or “Create Task/Activity” and connect your novaTime account.
- Map the fields from your form submission (for example: Name, Email, Project Type, Description) into the corresponding novaTime fields (for example: Task Title, Description, Assigned To) so the data lands correctly.
- Test your Zap with a sample form submission → verify in novaTime that the work item appears/gets created as expected → once successful, turn the Zap ON.
With the integration of forms.app and novaTime, you can automate your intake → action workflow.
