Telegram

When you use forms.app as the trigger (“New Form Submission”) and Telegram as the action in Zapier, your workflow is set: a new form submission triggers a Telegram message automatically. This enables you to keep your team, channel members, or community informed the moment someone interacts with your form.

What you’ll need

  • A forms.app account (to create your form and collect submissions)
  • A Zapier account (to build and run the workflow)
  • A Telegram account (and bot or channel set up to receive messages)

Why use it?

By integrating forms.app with Telegram, you can:

  • Ensure you or your team are notified immediately when a form is submitted
  • Cut down on manual checking of submissions
  • Keep your communication channel (Telegram) as a central hub for updates
  • Use the submission data from the form to craft customised messages in Telegram (for example: “New lead: Name, Email, Message”)

5 Steps to Set Up Telegram + forms.app Integration

  1. In your forms.app dashboard, build and publish your form so that submissions are received.

  2. Click the 'Use This Integration' button, and then the “forms.app + Gmail Connect” button. Or if you are in Zapier, click “Make a Zap” → choose forms.app as the trigger app → select the “New Form Submission” trigger and connect your forms.app account.

  3. Add the next step: select Telegram as the action app → choose “Send Message” (or other available action) and connect your Telegram account (via bot or bot/ channel configuration).

  4. Map the form submission fields to the Telegram message text. Decide which chat or channel should receive the message and customise the text to include relevant form data (for example: Name, Email, Question response).

  5. Test your Zap with a sample form submission → if the message appears in Telegram as desired, turn the Zap ON. From now on, whenever a form is submitted, you’ll get the notification in Telegram automatically.

With the integration of forms.app and Telegram, you can automate your workflow so that every new submission triggers a quick update in your preferred Telegram chat.
