Magento 2
With forms.app as the trigger and Magento 2 as the action in Zapier, your workflow becomes: a form is submitted in forms.app, Zap triggers, a record or action is created/updated in Magento 2 (for example: customer creation, order remark, product interest flagged). This helps you align your submission workflow with actual sales/operations in Magento 2.
What you’ll need
- A forms.app account (to build your form and collect responses)
- A Zapier account (to build the automation from forms.app → Magento 2)
- A Magento 2 store/account (with access to API or integration permissions)
5 Steps to Set Up Magento 2 + forms.app Integration
- In your forms.app dashboard, build and publish your form so that submissions will trigger the “New Form Submission” event in Zapier.
- In Zapier, click “Make a Zap” → choose forms.app as the trigger app → select the “New Form Submission” trigger → connect your forms.app account.
- Add the next step: choose Magento 2 as the action app → select the appropriate action (for example: “Create Customer”, “Update Customer”, or custom action depending on your store setup) and connect your Magento 2 account.
- Map the fields from your form submission (for example: Name, Email, Product Interest, Custom Answer) into the corresponding Magento 2 fields or custom attributes so the data lands correctly.
- Test your Zap with a sample form submission → verify that the record appears or is updated in Magento 2 as expected → once successful, turn the Zap ON. From then on, each new form submission will automatically trigger the configured action in Magento 2.
With the integration of forms.app and Magento 2, you can automate your lead-capture and translate it into store-level actions.
