Kit
Kit is an email-marketing and subscriber-management platform built to help creators and small businesses grow and engage their audience. It offers features like email sequences, tagging, segmenting subscribers, and automating email workflows.
When you connect the forms you build in forms.app to Kit via Zapier, you can automatically add new form submissions as subscribers (or tag existing ones) in Kit. Your email list grows and updates the moment someone fills out your form.
How to connect your forms with Kit via Zapier
When you use forms.app as the trigger (âNew Form Submissionâ) and Kit as the action in Zapier, your workflow becomes: a new submission in forms.app â Zap triggers â Kit creates or updates a subscriber (or adds a tag/enters them into a sequence) with the form data.
What youâll need
- A forms.app account (for creating your form and collecting responses)
- A Zapier account (to build the automated workflow)
- A Kit account (to host your subscriber list/email workflow)
Why use it?
By integrating forms.app with Kit, you can:
- Automatically turn every new form submission into a subscriber in Kit, so you never miss a lead.
- Keep your subscriber list up to date in real time.
- Map form fields (for example: Email, First Name, Tags, Preferences) to Kitâs subscriber fields or tags so your list segmentation remains meaningful.
5 Steps to Set Up Kit + forms.app Integration
- In your forms.app dashboard, create and publish your form so that submissions will trigger the âNew Form Submissionâ event in Zapier.
- In Zapier, click âMake a Zapâ â choose forms.app as the trigger app â select âNew Form Submissionâ and connect your forms.app account.
- Add the next step: select Kit as the action app â choose an action such as âAdd Subscriber to Formâ (or âAdd Tag to Subscriberâ / âAdd to Sequenceâ) and connect your Kit account (enter API credentials if required).
- Map the fields from your form submission (for example: Email, First Name, Tags) into the corresponding fields in Kit so the data lands correctly. Optionally map some responses into subscriber tags or custom fields in Kit for better segmentation.
- Test your Zap with a sample form submission â check in Kit that the subscriber appears or is updated as expected â once confirmed, turn the Zap ON. From now on, every new form submission automatically triggers subscriber creation or update in Kit.
With the integration of forms.app and Kit, you can automate your lead-capture and email-marketing workflow.
