Amazon S3
Using forms.app as the trigger and Amazon S3 as the action in Zapier, your workflow becomes: a form is submitted in forms.app → Zap triggers → a file or object is created/updated in S3 using the form data. According to Zapier’s docs, Amazon S3 supports key actions such as Create Text Object and Upload File, and triggers like New or Updated File and New Bucket.
What you’ll need
- A forms.app account (to create your form and collect submissions)
- A Zapier account (to build and activate the workflow)
- An Amazon S3 account (with at least one bucket created)
5 Steps to Set Up Amazon S3 + forms.app Integration
1. In your forms.app dashboard, build and publish your form so that submissions begin to accumulate.
2. Click the 'Use This Integration' button here or find Amazon S3 by going to the Connect tab after creating your form.
3. In Zapier, select a suitable action (for example: “Upload File” or “Create Text Object”) and connect your Amazon S3 account (you’ll need your S3 bucket name and access credentials).
4. Map the fields from your form submission (for example: Name, Email, Message, Attachment) into the S3 action: e.g., create a text object with the submission details, or upload the file/attachment from the form into a designated folder in your S3 bucket.
5. Test your Zap with a sample form submission → verify that the file or object appears in your S3 bucket as expected → once successful, turn the Zap ON. From then on, each new form submission will automatically be saved into S3.
With the integration of forms.app and Amazon S3, you can automate your data-capture and storage workflow.
