Filter by Zapier

Filter by Zapier is a built-in tool from Zapier that gives you precise control over when your automation workflows run. Instead of every submission or trigger automatically leading to an action, Filter by Zapier lets you set conditions so that only the form responses that pass the filter move forward to the next steps.

When you connect your forms on forms.app to Filter by Zapier, you can ensure that only the form submissions meeting your criteria cause downstream actions (like notifications, record creation, emails, etc.). For example, only responses where the user selects “Yes” in a key question continue with the workflow. So, the workflow goes like this: 

Form submission via forms.app → Filter by Zapier → Your chosen app.
