forms.app helped us provide forms that were easy to navigate, simple to save periodically to come back to, and easy to upload supporting documents. All providers have expressed how we have the quickest and greatest commissioning application.

1. Challenge

The Redbridge HAF team was using Microsoft Forms before and faced obstacles in many areas:

  • Poor user experience: Microsoft Forms was not easy for providers to navigate and complete.
  • Time-consuming process: The platform was clunky and made it difficult to create & test forms.
  • Limited functionality: It lacked easy-to-use features for saving progress and uploading supporting documents.

These limitations created barriers that made the commissioning application complex for providers and made it difficult for the team to manage the applications.

2. Solution

Redbridge HAF made a switch to forms.app to find a form solution that addresses all their challenges:

  • Better form-filling experience: Redbridge HAF’s forms on forms.app have a “sleek design” and are exceptionally easy to navigate and complete.
  • Save and continue later: Provider applicants can save their progress periodically and return to complete applications at their convenience.
  • Simple document uploads: forms allow file uploads to let providers support their case.
  • AI form creation: AI tools help the Redbridge HAF team create well-structured forms faster.

The London Borough of Redbridge's Holiday, Activities & Food Programme is a dedicated team supporting children, young people, and families across the borough. The team works closely with providers, schools, and community partners to provide children with holiday clubs that offer a safe and inclusive environment, nutritious meals, and a wide range of engaging activities.

The new Redbridge HAF application form was really straightforward to complete. Having everything in one place through the forms.app made the process clear and much quicker. It felt far less complicated than before, so we could focus more on planning our club.
