AppSheet
When you use forms.app as the trigger and AppSheet as the action via Zapier, your workflow becomes: a form is submitted in forms.app → Zapier triggers → a new record is created or updated in your AppSheet application.
What you’ll need
- A forms.app account (to build your form and collect responses)
- A Zapier account (to build the automation from forms.app → AppSheet)
- An AppSheet account (with the app you want to populate)
5 Steps to Set Up AppSheet + forms.app Integration
- In your forms.app dashboard, create and publish your form so that submissions will trigger an event in Zapier.
- In Zapier, click “Make a Zap” → choose forms.app as the trigger app → select the “New Form Submission” trigger → connect your forms.app account.
- Add the next step: select AppSheet as the action app → choose an action such as “Create Record” (or “Update Record”) in a specific table in your AppSheet app → connect your AppSheet account.
- Map the fields from your form submission (for example: Name, Email, Message) into the corresponding table fields in your AppSheet application so that the data lands correctly.
- Test your Zap with a sample form submission → verify in your AppSheet app that the record appears or is updated as expected → once successful, turn the Zap ON.
With the integration of forms.app and AppSheet, you can automate your data-capture and app-workflow pipeline.
