When you use forms.app as the trigger and select Trengo as the action in Zapier, your workflow becomes: a new form submission arrives in forms.app, Zapier triggers, then Trengo creates a record (such as a contact, conversation, or note) with the submission data. This allows your team to pick up on leads or requests immediately.
What you’ll need
- A forms.app account (to build your form and collect responses)
- A Zapier account (to build the automation: forms.app → Trengo)
- A Trengo account (to receive contacts, conversations or notes created via the integration)
5 Steps to Set Up Trengo + forms.app Integration
- In your forms.app dashboard, build and publish your form so that submissions will trigger the “New Form Submission” event in Zapier.
- In Zapier, click “Make a Zap” → choose forms.app as the trigger app → select the “New Form Submission” trigger → connect your forms.app account.
- Add the next step: select Trengo as the action app → choose the appropriate action, for example “Create Contact” or “Create Conversation” → connect your Trengo account.
- Map the form submission fields (for example: Name, Email, Phone, Message) into the corresponding fields in Trengo so the data lands correctly (e.g., contact name, email, initial conversation message).
- Test your Zap with a sample form submission → check in Trengo that the contact/conversation appears as expected → once successful, turn the Zap on.
With the integration of forms.app and Trengo, you’ll automate your intake-to-team-workflow pipeline.
