Groove
When you set up forms.app as the trigger (“New Form Submission”) and then use Groove as the action in Zapier, the workflow becomes: a form submission in forms.app → Zap triggers → a record (ticket, conversation, lead) is created in Groove with the submission data. This removes manual data entry and ensures your support team or CRM remains up-to-date.
What you’ll need
- A forms.app account — so you can build your form and collect responses.
- A Zapier account — to create the automation from forms.app → Groove.
- A Groove account — to receive and manage the tickets, leads, or workflow records.
5 Steps to Set Up Groove + forms.app Integration
- In your forms.app dashboard, build and publish your form so that submissions will trigger the “New Form Submission” event in Zapier.
- In Zapier, click “Make a Zap” → choose forms.app as the trigger app → select the “New Form Submission” trigger → connect your forms.app account.
- Add the next step: choose Groove as the action app → select the appropriate action (e.g., “Create Ticket”, “Create Conversation”, depending on your use case) → connect your Groove account.
- Map the fields from your form submission (for example: Name, Email, Message, Custom field) into the corresponding Groove fields (ticket subject, description, requester email, etc.).
- Test your Zap with a sample form submission → check in Groove that the ticket or record appears as expected → once successful, turn the Zap ON. From now on, each new form submission will automatically flow into Groove.
With the integration of forms.app and Groove, you can automate your support or lead-capture workflow.
