What is an export declaration form?
An export declaration form, like a report form, is a document that allows exporters to declare goods. Exporters can use this form as proof of their export activity. It also serves as an invaluable resource for the authorities when collecting data about the commodities exported in the country. A good export declaration form should include or ask for the following details:
1 - General details of the exporting party (company name, contact person, address, etc.)
2 - Details of the goods being exported.
3 - Details of the importing party (company name, contact person, address, etc.)
4 - Description of the method of transport as well as any other relevant details including any special packing instructions and/or precautions taken against damage during transport.
5 - A declaration by the exporter that all statements made in this form are true and correct to the best of his/her knowledge and belief.
